Lagi, just south of Phan Thiet is home to a large fishing fleet made up of a myriad of boats. Each vessel has a different part to play in the seafood business.

Women paddle small boats servicing the boats that can't pull up at the dock, fuel is pumped from shore in to containers to be taken out to boats docked further out, ice is chipped and pumped directly in to the holds or bagged up and paddled out to be loaded aboard. Nets are sorted, deals are done, deliveries made, repacking the catch into more ice - and this happens nearly everyday of the year.
