Uluwatu Bali - The chattering of the men represents the sound of monkeys. The Kecak Dance also known as the monkey dance stems from a ceremony called Sanghyang, which was held to purify a village that was hit by an epidemic. It also deals with part of the Hindu Ramayana. Two young girls go into a trance to communicate with the spirits in order to find a cure for the problem. It also involves Rama the reincarnation of Vishnu, Ravana the demon who has fallen in love with Sita.
The terraces are along the road to Ubud and the statues are also found around the same area.
