My name is Adam Martin. I grew up on the stunningly beautiful Mornington Peninsula, south east of Melbourne in Australia. I first ventured to Asia in 1991 intending on a 3 week holiday, only to return to Australia 7 months later a changed man. I have been in Asia for approximately the last 11 years having moved to the region in 2001. I’ve always been fascinated by photographs and always envisioned myself in wild locations accumulating incredible tales, seeing ancient wonders and meeting wild & exotic people.

And here I am in Vietnam, travelling regularly throughout Asia, living my dream.

For the last 20 + years, both personally and professionally, my energy has evolved around photography. My work ranges from portraiture, landscapes, documentary to commercial projects. My understanding of Asian travel and photography has seen me employed as a Photographic Tour Leader in places such as Japan, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia helping others create beautiful images whilst teaching the skills of the craft.

Every aspect of photography is important to me. Focusing on quality image creation is my ambition, meeting clients needs is my goal, and achieving creative results is always my desire. I am proud of what I do, and always aim to achieve the best images possible.

I am chasing the eternal dream of seeing the most amazing places I can.

I have stood in awe of Mt Everest from Tibet. I have been blessed by a Japanese monk from a cauldron that has bubbled constantly for hundreds of years. I have witnessed the perfect Cambodian sunrise over Angkor Wat, scuba dived with squadrons of Manta Rays in Indonesia, watched the sun go down from atop a temple in Bagan in Myanmar. I've met women with black lacquered teeth, ex head hunters with tribal tattoos, people smooth and wrinkled, kids with buckets on their heads, babies holding pythons, old men holding grandsons.

Capturing those moments and being able to go back to them through photography is what propels me and hopefully will, until my dying day.

Over the past 11 years I have travelled through Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, India, Tibet, India, Japan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Fiji, New Zealand and of course Australia.
